They are fairly final....  lol:

I much prefer a cremation to a funeral... you have to do the whole bloody thing twice at a funeral...  noooo:

I'm not religious. More scientific.
I do wonder....and don't laf' please, 'cus absolutelty NOBODY knows, but I do always wonder if there is some possibilty of whoever's in 'that box' actually knows what's going on sort of, but isn't physically able for that to be known.
Terrifies me a bit tbqh.

daft I know, but we just don't know.

Soz like. redface:

Thank you to Miss C, Mr C, Growler and Nick for representing the VP at the service, and Miss C for the full description.

This is the first time I have lost a 'virtual' friend like this and it is strange that I find all the same kind of memories of his sage words come back, just like those of people I have known and lost in 'real life'.

I hope it was some comfort to his family that he will never be forgotten by people he never met in person, as well as the many he will have helped and supported (and chastised!) in the flesh.

I mostly despair

It is indeed a strange one Darwin you are right.  I only met Malcolm one.  Mr C and I had a pub lunch with him.  Real food real pub eeek: We had shared many PM's over the years some quite detailed and intimate I suppose, if only because we seemed to have lived in the same places and so rather than bore folks with tales of river banks and watering holes we had been in so he was a virtual friend but the grief is just the same. evil:
I have always thought that the worst thing about drowning was having to call 'help!' You must look such a fool. It's put me against drowning.
