So take a paintgun, paint it black and then refill the paintballs with powdered ghost pepper..

Paintball guns aren't illegal to own over here and while not as satisfying as a couple of shells worth of buckshot a face full of powdered ghost pepper delivered to any scrote who tries to break in would certainly put a crimp in their day.

When I lived there I had a shotgun (for shooting clays obviously) and two CO2 pistols... get armed...

Out of curiosity I had a quick look online at paintball guns. The Grumpmeister home defence range will adopt the rule 37 approach just to see the fear in their eyes before  getting peppered to hell and back...
