I remember when I was a nipper, staring through the ventilation gaps on the back of the telly and the radio, watching them all glow up.
Halycyon days they were.

Meanwhile, this new digi Trivial thingy box warms up and gets going pdq compared to the other heap of cack.
Virtually instant it is.

Going to have to face some grief off Mrs g when she decides to make a rare re-appearance one day, as she'ssaved loads of recorded shite on it, including virtually the entire Olympic Games ffs!
Anyway of transferring that?
I personally couldn't give a flying duck like, but she IS going to ask and whinge about it.

Cos while you are out of the house the TiVo will record programmes it thinks you might like based on those ratings.  My stone age TiVo is doing it all the time

We have been with Virgin for broadband since it was NTL and we recently needed to have a new cable put in (long story) . Anyway it took about three days for the new hub to settle in but since then we have been getting 30 Mb's really fast.  Very happy with it ...
