Bravo, very good news.   cloud9:
It's better than I ever even knew.  They say that the world was built for two.  Only worth living if somebody is loving you.  Baby now you do.

He is, and always give credit where it's due, the same as I'll always justifiably critisise and bollock publicly if needs be if they step out of line BIG time.
None of this 'protecting your own' regardless' and at ALL costs shit from me. evil:

Well done that man, and that man

I also feel a bit uncomfy with some of the praise that's being bestowed upon me tbqath.
I mean, what have I done ey, exactly like? Shrugs:

I pointed him in this career direction 18 months ago, more out of desperation than anything else, as he was just SSSSSSSSSSSSO unhappy with the job I managed to secure for him as a valeter for one of my cussies, where he was mentally bullied relentlessly.
I had to do something...as a parent, as it was as distressing for me to watch him suffer as it was for him to endure it all, month after month in some of the shitiest weather and poor working conditions for little pay and zero mental reward.

He came home, night after night with red raw hands, almost, in fact sometimes even, in tears.

He badgered away with his PCV driving  lessons for month after month, failing his very stringent test 4 times, confidence dwindling each time,  on mainly trivial items, but failing all the same, 'cus that's how it's rightly judged now, but he eventually passed.

He has been a star for the company he currently works for anyway, and I've spoken to his boss last week regarding the nasty jealous sarcastic notes that had been written on his wage slip envelope clocking on/off card and notice board bulletins.
He confirmed and offered this without me asking, as that wasn't what I rang him for.........
Well liked (by most, see above) respected and a pleasure to have working for us (unquote)

That indeed makes me a very happy and proud owld Bear, but HE is the one who richly deserves everything he has worked so hard for,, and of course, using his OWN initiative for applying to a company that didn't even have any vacancies, hand delivering his application to make sure they actually had it, following it up, badgering, and finally, today, proving to the management team from head office that he's going to be a worthy hard working conciencious employee.

He said something to me this evening that made me smile with his innocence, inexperience of differentiating between tounge in cheek comments and reality, and these lingering doubts about himself.
One of the other drivers this morning that he doesn't particulary like (or dislike really, just a bit 'cocky' as he so quaintly puts it  lol: ) took the time to come over to him and say "good luck today, but I hope you don't get the job"

He was initially quite offended and took him to task with a slightly angry response....."charming"  ::)

The other driver responded by saying, no you daft get, I mean, I hope you don't get the job 'cus this company need more like you, and can't afford to lose you.

Made me smile that. ;D

Found out this evening that he's been taking pictures on his 'phone of the buses he's been driving.  Shocked:

Gave him some stick like....."BUS SPOTTER" lol:

They do exist apparently, and he regulary gets 'snapped' by old men men wearing anoraks, wooley hats, camera in one hand, note book and pen in t'other. lol:
