I was interested that this morning the BBC Today Programme thought it necessary, following the report that Mandela was frail and in hospital, to tell their listeners that Nelson Mandela served 28 years in prison and then became President of South Africa ....... Do they really think there is anyone listening who doesn't know who Nelson Mandela is?  Banghead

Serious answer .......Yes .........has he been on the x-factor/big brother .. rubschin:     people are mongs.........

Suggest re-read of my post to identify the likely listening audience of the programme referred to.  Banghead

Sorry , but I think they have to cover all bases ...........esp if they are "going forward".......

I always assumed he was a council house builder. 

Every big city seems to have streets on sink estates named after him.
I mostly despair
