The president of Cyprus is in Egypt trying to improve tourism........ Banghead

I would think the average person there would be more concerned with staying alive than their next holiday........also most of them don't have a pot to piss in .....hence they are here working for peanuts.......... noooo:

You do seem to have the doziest politicians.   If what Misty was reporting lasts he should be selling skiing holidays.

It would be funny if not so sad......now they are closing the banks (think I mentioned it before ) the one near me with ample parking has been closed and the one opened on a main road ....... Banghead  they have opened this new mall and closed the nearest cash point ..the nearest one now has a queue .... noooo:

I was waiting for this:

http://order-order.com/2014/01/03/imf-contemplating-mass-expropriation-in-e-zone/?utm_source=Guy+Fawkes%27+Blog+List&utm_campaign=d8ff0af8c0-happy+hour&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_547885726c-d8ff0af8c0-225759853

Oh well done Guido  ::), all those years building up a reputation and he's just gone and shot himself in the foot by recycling a 3 month old article in Forbes copying their misconstruction.

Because if he had read the actual IMF report as openly available since October      http://www.imf.org/external/pubs/ft/fm/2013/02/pdf/fm1302.pdf   then he'd have seen that quote from Box 6 is just the IMF summarising discussions they have already observed in Europe *

Perhaps the worst news for all new idiot conspiracy theorist Guido is that tin foil is no longer BOGOF so those special hats will cost him a little more.

Guido if you're reading this then here's a clue:  people who are out to swindle you do not publish their ideas openly on the internet.  Hope that helps, toodlepip

*  The report is copy protected but Box 6 is actually only referenced once, by page 39 of the report - in a chapter called "2. taxing our way out or— or into?—trouble"

from there....

"Just renewed the Road Tax on the wifes Fiat 500 875cc Twin Air Stop & Start with a 90 g/km CO2 & found it had increased by 67%. So much for running a green car.
I thought I read, Cyprus were bringing their Road Tax in line with other Euopean counties & if the CO2 was under 100 g/km there would be Zero Road Tax, instead it΄s shot up to €30.00.
Also my 400cc scooter, not two years old yet, is now €39.00 up 130% from €17.00 last year.
Can see many taking a chance & not bothering. Also noted no price is printed on the Tax Disc this year"
