Yep it has shut due to the roadworks. The owner has cleared off without paying a few bills allegedly.  noooo:

One of my chores today was to pop into the local courier place to send a recorded delivery of bits of paper to the Limassol Tax Office...........................

No problem, the aforesaid package can go but not until this Wednesday earliest because all Government offices are shut today and tomorrow so they can get ready for the funeral of the recently demised President

Not just the tax offices, all Government offices - it was explained to me that this is so they can plan and co-ordinate a proper state send off  ::)

Binmen are supposed to come Tuesday, Thursday and Friday....

They couldn't come Tuesday because of the funeral so they came yesterday instead...

...and again today....  lol:
