What sort of car is it?

DAF's auto boxes used to be driven by belts that used to whine like 'ell.

That would account for the "come and go" aspect of the "whine" . . .

No I made sure he was still under the shed.. ;) There was a dark furry thing lurking in the depth's of the boot but it was squashed I think the shopping  may have had something to do with it... whistle:

Mrs G had one of those until late last year.
Battered it to death nearly, but it kept on going, and never let us down, poor thing bless it. sad24:

Absolutely stonking little car they are....apart from yours... at the mo like....obviously whistle:

This week she has had her brakes done, disks and pads, she is nice and clean and running sweetly... cloud9:

Never driven the 1.4. noooo:

Mrs G's which used to be G jnr's, was a 1.1 GLS

Nicely specced up, and actually a nice looking car too, without being flash.
