Staines? Mustn't forget the apocryphal Seaman from Pugwash
Back on topic, my 39 years list to ridicule (why does this have a similar
feel to listing all those young ladies we may have gained some
favours from?)
1. Cortina Mk1 - my one true love in cars, if only it would start
2. Cortina Mk2 - so easy to repair, got so much practice
3. Cortina Mk3 - a dalliance best forgotten
4. Cortina Mk4 - 1st company car, reliable and boring as hell zzzzzzzzzzzz
5. Cavalier Mk2 - wasn't going to be seen dead in a Sierra, tried hard to be so in this
6. Cavalier Mk2 SRI - a whole 120 BHP! A very good drive
7. Citroen BX GTi - fun, fast, just looked shite
8. Citroen BX 16V - seriously fast, seriousy flawed and still looked silly - stupidly I bought it from the company
9. Citreon Xantia Activa - bit underpowered but a stonking drive, drove it into the ground
and to my current drive
10 Mazda 3 MPS - 256BHP and can fit a washing machine in it when needed. Best thing to come out of Hiroshima. Needs 10 old lady muggings a year to pay for the insurance
Enough of my jallopies
. . . and bought the Pajero – the most incredible on and off road vehicle… . . .
they are good, very very good, just one tiny flaw. Ever seen the Spanish translation of that
