This device is not recognised by puter

I am trying to sort out some tracks on my MP3 player.

Plugged it into various USB ports on puter ...nada, nothing, not a sign that it recognises it.  Banghead

Rebooted.

Same as before.

Was working fine last week  Banghead

Any suggestions ?

Try a different USB port on the PC - they sometimes get confusimicated....

What is the make and model of the MP3 player and do you remember if you had to install any drivers for it when you first got it.
