Hmmmm...I'm in two minds about the Freddie Starr stuff. When Dean Martin was parading about with considerably younger ladies, I bet an awful lot of us thought "good lad!". Fame (and money) has benefits to both parties in that sort of relationship, where both should be old enough to know what they're getting in to.

I'd be surprised if any prosecution is heading his way - he's obviously barking mad, but I never had him down as a kiddler, unlike Savile, King and Glitter.

Me thinks that because it had been going along for so many years, there are many more that have kept quiet knowing it all the time or having being involved.
It could be as good as the MP's expenses shite.  eveilgrin:

Bet the initial complainants are well pissed off now seeing all these other weasels crawling out from under the floorboards with their accusations.
The damages compo they are hoping to receive from JS's estate are going to be considerably watered down now, bless 'em. ::)

Just seen the news; everyone and their mother seems to have know what was going on and yet not one was prepared to do anything about it. OK I can understand the young girls not being able to do anything but it appears other adults knew and turned a blind eye.

I just don't get it.  noooo:

I do. They're being driven by greed...ŁkerchingŁ, (nowt new there then) knowing full well that JS cannot defend himself in a court of law.
His guilt or innocence is now irrelevant and inprovable either way.

I'm not talking about the victims who may or may not be up for compensation but his peers who knew or at least had very strong suspicions as to what he was like.

I don't agree but if (and it's a big if) that's the case then those people are double shites. One for not speaking up at the time and now for being on the make.

Well we'll never know with 100% positivity will we?

What would be really interesting would be to see who has previously been questioned when investigations of these allegations have surfaced in the past.

If they now come forward then do them for perverting the course of justice..... cussing:
