Hurrah!
Both Nolan and Carroll are way underrated imho.

I always pick Jarvis in my fantasy teams as he was electric when I used to see him at Gillingham.  Seems to be struggling to consistently put in performances in the top tier
Well, whatever, nevermind

Rooney to leave utd............... rubschin:

Could be

van Persie is the new god, Welbeck continues to put his ungamely past behind him and that £200k+ a week wage bill for Rooney is getting to look like a liability.  He is less than an advertisers first pick with that Shrek face, dodgy private life, history of disputes and it's a long time since he was setting internationals alight.  And I have to say Fergie is an expert at knowing when to chop.

But Rooney is a wonderful player to watch live and I'll be sad if he does go
Well, whatever, nevermind

Ah yes the miracle of Istanbul

bloody miracle that ref didn't allow that perfectly good fourth goal by Shevchenko but yes I was cheering that magical second half performance

I also recall a certain team being 3:0 away to Spurs and winning it 5:3  - dem were the days

Well, whatever, nevermind

you'll need an undeserved penalty and a sending off to make it the perfect match.  Have you ever read Fever Pitch?  He gives his description of the ideal football game that I nicked that from.

On account of my forced choice in the Baffling compo I will be cheering the Spurs so we can have grudge talk tomorrow
Well, whatever, nevermind
