Sick of it mate, and listening to BR after the game, I think he is too, for the same reasons. Banghead

Play the opposition off the field for 85% of the game, then simply go to sleep and let them batter us. Wake up after we've gone behind, and then play them off the field again....and still lose....AGAIN! thatsit:

Watched the match  ... it became a different game once Gerrard and Suarez were sent on as substitutes. Frankly I don't think the manager is that bothered about the competition .... more concerned with saving his best but increasingly fragile "Old Guard" to get them out of Premiership shite would be my evaluation.
Mind you that little black (well he is) youngster they brought on for the last 15 minutes or so looks a lively and skilfull player.

Stirling?

Been called up for the U21 Ingulund squad for next weeks match along with Shelvey.

The FUTURE is actually starting to look brighter for LFC now I think, but it's the present I'm more concerned about at the mo., obviously.

Over the years LFC seem to me to have relied heavily on loads of local players with a strong commitment to the ethos of the club, as laid down by the late and great Bill Shankley. Of late they have fallen into the trap of buying in foreign players and last might I thought that the team ~ until the subs came on ~ displayed a distinct lack of that all for one, one for all  "You'll Never Walk Alone" attitude that was once their most potent weapon.

Uncle ~ It seems that Ashley Cole is in deep sh*t for tweeted remarks concerning the FA's treatment of his teammate John Terry.
His expression of his anger that the FA's judgement on Terry did, in effect, call into question evidence that Cole had given under oath in court has some merit in my opinion but the FA seem determined to operate by standards that would not be acceptable in law. So much for our much vaunted freedom of speech in the UK.

At least that was my translation of Grump's outburst. Where I agree with Grumps is that Cole has enough experience of the FA to have realised that they would not look kindly upon his remarks.
