Your first prang in a motor
« on: August 06, 2012, 06:34:44 PM »
It had to happen; eldest nephew (and God son) has had his first prang. Very fortunately no one else was involved ~ he was, allegedly, driving back from the pub along the country lanes and on preparing to make a left into the farm .... yep, miscalculated and drove straight into the farm's entrance wall ... demolishing it  eeek:

Damage:  The lad, none except pride. The wall, severe. The motor ... didn't dare ask but his Dad reckons 00's for the front end  noooo:

My first wasn't that serious but I did need a tow out of a ditch  redface:  I was mercilessly brought into line after that ... ouch

I put an RAF Mini-van into a ditch on its roof whilst trying to avoid a tractor n trailer that pulled out of a field.

Exactly one week later I did the same thing with another RAF Mini-van, same farmer, next field along.
I used to have a handle on life but it broke.

I bumped another car on a pub forecourt. Other car fine. My car, a demolished front wing. Turned out to be riddled with rust that had been covered up. (It was a Vauxhall Chevette ~ nuff said)
