« on: November 16, 2011, 08:40:42 PM »
Oh, it's all kicking off on me motoring forum again.

This poor geezer from Norway just wanted a simple explanation as to why all the fuss and infatuation about them here in the UK. Shrugs:

The pro's and anti's are 'aving a right ole ding dong in there now, insults flying everywhere. lol:

I've so far resisted the very strong temptation to join in with cries of.... obviously too much money to waste, posing, overly self important, pompous smug DICK'EDS! Wankah:

YEEEAH! cussing:

I think this may have been discussed before...with piccies iirc? rubschin:

I've never had a private plate.
Let me get this straight btw. It's NOT the random private plate that pisses me right and totally off, it's the ones that attempt to spell a name or some other random werd that no one on this friggin' planet actually gives a flying fuck about.
WHY?

I'll tell you why. 'Cus they are utter big headed willy waving posing  cocky Wankah:'s, that's why...IMO.

I'd willingly have a random 2 or 3 number and 3 letter combination though...for free.

I had my initials.... L1 MFL... At the time I was earning loadsamoney and it was the only extra I could add to the car...  redface:

When I bought my second XJR I drove the old one to the garage with the L1 MFL plate on it and the new (identical) car was there with the same plate... I'm not sure how it worked but I literally handed over the keys to one, got in the other and drove off....  rubschin:

What an awesome car....

Havin' a plate with your initials on isn't so bad, only not for me thanks.

The young lad over the road has bought a plate that bare his initials.
His original plate was a 54. This one is a 02! lol:
