« on: September 25, 2011, 10:10:04 AM »
Right I'm a trying to compile a playlist for me running ...whether on treadmill or pounding streets . If I am going to start this training thing off then I need some proper tunes to zone into and keep going to .....no wrist slitting musaz like . And nothing like Rocky theme tunes or any of that 'motivational' crap  noooo:

Suggestions on a postcard please  lol:

I use to have the same a few stone ago Miss D  ;D  It certainly helped. It is of course a personal thing as we all have differing musical tastes and different things spur us on, and these can change at well too. The ones I can remember from my playlist then are
Right here, right now  - Fatboy Slim
Hey Boy, Hey girl – The Chemical Brothers
Bohemian Like You - The Dandy Warhols
Pumping up the stereo – Supergrass
One more time – Daft Punk
Sandstorm – Darude
MacArthur Park – Donna Summer

IF (BIG IF) I was to do it now, off the top of my head I would probably include some of these
Slam – Pendulum (If nothing else the thought of the video would make me smile)
I’ve got a feeling – Black eyed peas
Pump it – Black eyed peas
Any of a few by Def Leppard

As for cooling down, twas always Enya

LiFe - It's an "F" in lie

The obvious choice  whistle:

SPENCER DAVIS GROUP - Keep on Running (original sound)

We used to warm up to this before the cross country ... Mp3 players? Walkman?  noooo:
