The problem is nothing to do with where it was made.
It has everything to do with the specification it was made to and the profit margin.
The problem is exacerbated by clever accountants working out that there will be 1,77 complaints per 1000 customers and a higher ratio than that will dent the profit margin therefore replacing the happy state of ignorance with the uncomfortable sense of responsibility - a word that has to be explained to far too many businessmen of late.
