Poor you happy100
Hope you are not in too much pain.
Once the leg starts to feel better then the bruises will appear on your posterior .
Did you check there was no CCTV cameras around ????

Got to look after your kness Wenchy, seriously.
Get down the hossy to have it checked.
rubschin: P'raps not. You'll probably catch summat fatal in the 20 hours it'll take them to see you.
::)
Go home and put your feet up.
Plenty of rest, keep warm, take pain killers every 4 hours, drink lots of water, and if it's not better in 2 weeks, come back and see me. ::)

There is cctv. noooo: Local village run cameras. I may have to put a call in. noooo:
Could hardly get up the stairs. Boss arrived to find me sitting halfway up them. noooo:

It's the local private hospitals car park. The consultant that helped pick me up wouldn't let me move till he'd checked me over. redface: Knew I should have shaved my legs this morning he was quite attractive. redface:

Growler is right about the knee though.
Bum and calf can look after themselves, but joints need watching.
Any swelling/fluid on knee and straight to A&E.

I'm sure the knee is fine, they are buggered anyway so anything like that just makes them feel worse, but I shall keep a watchful eye.

Don't I know it DS.
Mrs GROWLER has had several nasty falls onto her knees over the years, and time is now starting to show up the subsequent damage....that's why I'm always nippin' off up me big 'ill....she can't come with me anymore! ;)
Twat aren't I? lol:

Knees are apparently buggered by an excess of horse riding and ballet when I was younger. Plus a genetic weakness in that area. noooo: Plus the right one got kicked by a horse and the left nearly pulled out of joint by a nasty fight with Brother Wench when we were younger. redface:

If they are already a bit knackered then even more reason to get them looked at if any new injury, stop them getting worse.
Life is a downward slope of physical degeneration, but you can influence the steepness a bit.

Similar to Mrs Growler then. That was the start of all her knee and back troubles.
Bloody nags. Hateful creatures, and Mrs Growler is encouraging Mini Moose to continue her horsey lessons. eeek:
I'm taking her tomorrow night. She hates that as I embarass her in front of the other students the way I talk to the 'orses and show total and deliberate ignorance.

The hosp that owns the car park has a duty of care ~ they may argue that you had no business to be there so have contributed to your own injury but personally I'd be onto Injury Lawyers R Us before I had a cup of coffee.
FFS Burglars have successfully sued householders for injuries sustained whilst breaking in because the lawyers proved that the householder hadn't done some repair or other. That car park should have been gritted.
SUE THEM!

But what would she spend the compo on? Tat?

[serious] Who provided the bus and bus stop from which/at which you were alighting when gravity got the better of you?[/serious]

It is a public car park, run by no one as far as I have been able to gather. There was no bus invoved. And my boots have plenty of grip. I was walking down a slight slope when a car came racing towards me, I stepped aside and went down. I'm actually pretty fortunate my leg didn't go under the car.

Then sue the bloody council ~ somebody must own the land and they have failed to make proper provision for public safety. Even if they hadn't gritted it they should have a sign warning of ice etc. Any lawyer would be happy to take it on ~ no win, no fee basis of course. FFS you were even attended by a Doctor at the scene. Perfect evidence for m'learned friends.
