Dunno ~ looked like the Scallypool skyline at first glance. I assumed (stupid thing to do around here I know) that it was something to do with their upcoming European City of Culture events ( happy001 ) ..... of which we hear little else up here at the moment.
-
Shit me that really isn't funny. eeek:

I got a daddy long legs caught in my hair last night. sad24:

You may want to stay away from the banks of the Thames Wenchy....
-
If you see what I mean...... And when I last worked in town what is now Tate Modern was a disused power station at Battersea
This is Scallypool skyline from across the river ..... see the building to the right as you look at it.

Besides I NEVER went south of the Thames ~ Mother said if I did I'd get things in my hair ..... Looks like she was right.

When I went to dry my face the other night, after my pre-bed stand up wash, a spider crawled out of my towel and across my face. spider: eeek:

We have got some whoppers around the house at the moment.

So have we. What's going on?
-
We have got some whoppers around the house at the moment.
They do seem to be bigger at the moment don't they. scared2:
-
We are also suffering from seasonal Excessive Squirrel Activity. They are everywhere. And fat!
-
They've dug up all Mr Wench's raddishes.
-
I don't know what to say.
-
Perhaps it's going to a cold winter?
Beware when squirrels are lardy
For winter you need to be hardy.
-
I think it is. The finches have eaten every berry on the hawthorn tree. They must know someting. SHould I inform the Met Office?
-
So have we. What's going on?
Same here, it's obviously the time of year. I instructed my wife to empty the "spider-vac" down the toilet, cos I was convinced it was the same bugger getting back in. Alas no.
They're a real bugger to catch as well.

Beats the jam jar and card trick. My wife humanely lets them go outside the front door. I just use it as a convenient transport to a watery WC grave.
-
I don't wear glasses actually!!

Wenchy, you probably have the parts to build one within the tat mountain:
a hand bellows
a small grille
a tube to attach to the front
1. Mount grille inside the tube and attach to the front of the bellows
2. Place open end over spider and open bellows, sucking spider in.
3. Find open window, poke outside and close bellows hard
4. Hope the next door neighbour isnt an arachnophobe as well whistle:

Or in possession of a bigger tube and bellows?
A large spider, with a grudge, returning Chez Wench at 150MPH is a sobering thought. eeek:

And most certainly not a catarantulapulttm

spider: They are huge here at the moment, I don't mind spiders, but even I am picking my feet up, when they thunder across the carpet and up the walls. whistle: Still I don't have any flys or mozzies.
