So you were there then?  Maybe you're a suspect.

And you do realise that 'all on the parents' means no blame at all on anyone else don't you?   No blame on the resort that left a message for anyone to read that effectively said 'child available for kidnap', no blame on their friend that said he'd check the children but didn't, no blame on the police that spent weeks telling the British press false stories for kickbacks and above all no blame on whoever actually took the child?

No one least of all the McCanns says the parents were blameless but we've had 15 years of this nasty and idiotic painting them as murderers.  They've suffered more than enough of this witch hunting.
Well, whatever, nevermind

::)

They had a duty to protect their helpless child. They completely failed in that primary task of being a parent.

For once I agree with BM on this one. They went out and left a 3 year old alone in an unlocked flat. Despicable

So you agree with BM that 0.00% of the blame lies with anyone else including the actual kidnapper and probable murderer?

I agree with Steve. The parents were irresponsible in the first place and must take some of the blame but they didn't murder the child. Someone else did that and that is where most blame should be placed.
