Cigars...
« on: May 02, 2007, 05:42:30 PM »

I don?t smoke, but spending some time in a hotel in Las Vegas years ago I was inexplicably attracted to the cigar store...

Like a very naughty schoolboy I sneaked in and bought a box of Churchill?s, some matches and the obligatory cigar cutter.

Back to my room, I opened the contraband, cut the end, lit and spluttered through the wonderful smell of the tobacco ? never inhaling of course.

To this day, I get the most amazing urge to ?smoke? a cigar whenever I have been drinking (like now) although inhaling the smoke would be beyond me and I loathe the disgusting taste of my mouth the morning after which toothpaste and ?sonic? toothbrush cannot remove?

What?s that about then?

Ask my friend in the corner ~ he has some ideas on the subject

I used to have a handle on life but it broke.

Everytime I've attempted to smoke a cigar I kept inhaling accidentally and so every single time.  sick2:

Really? Cigar inhalation? Even as a 30 a day cigarette smoker it still made me throw up.

Or are you being funny?  redface:

Not being funny ... I took to cigars to reduce the number of ciggies I smoked. (40 a day, untipped Piccadilly)
Started well with just a couple of small cigars of an evening but that built up to Castella sized 5 a day then ten a day so I went onto a pipe. That lasted about 5 years but was seldom out of my mouth (The Kids of that marriage called it Dad's Dummy) though not always lit. Eventually with the split up of the marriage being discussed one evening I felt the process of cleaning, filling and lighting a pipe was not what I needed at that moment so went back on ciggies. Soon back up to 40+ a day so when the quacks said stop or we won't do the bypass operation I stopped. Always inhaled all of them, cigs, pipe and cigars.
I used to have a handle on life but it broke.

Um? I?m guessing you didn?t go through that cleaning, scraping rigmarole with your pipe so it must have been the ciggie or cigar?  whistle:

Ciggie after Nookie as cigars were banned in the bedroom. Besides after all that press-ups stuff who the fvck can stay awake long enough to smoke a cigar?
AND knowing this why do the women always want to talk afterwards?
