I had an exchange today which fell into the same category as The Brat's camera / mobile phone understanding dilemma.

I was hoping to buy some light weight photo printing paper so went into the art materials shop to see if they had any. Conversation ensued with a girlie assistant (holiday job?) as I explained what I wanted ~ they didn't have any light weight (80gsm) but girlie assistant suddenly had a bright idea...

"Hey, I've got this friend of mine, right, who does this weird stuff where he uses kind of light sensitive paper, OK, and exposes it to light or something and makes, like prints, yeah? I dunno how he does it, it's pretty amazing stuff, right, but he might have some really light paper 'n' I could phone him, yeah, I mean light as in paper ok, not light as in like, light, yeah? Shall I phone him? He's really cool... "

MissC should give her a good talking to; she's a dab hand when it comes to painting with light  whistle:

A darkroom is being installed, at least that is what I am told it is. scared2:  The walls have to be painted black.

I'm surprised The Brat isn't Skyping  rubschin: ... or perhaps she is?

Nephew #1 is Skyping from down under presently, allegedly, though he hasn't tried it on with his favourite Uncle yet  sad24:

Perhaps that's a blessing  whistle:

I think there would be a bit of a bun fight if they had 40 odd teenage kids that all wanted to get onto Skype  whistle:
