yesterday having brekkie at an excellent Italian Cafe Mrs K saw an interesting bottle of red (Barbera d'Asti) on sale there.   £94.50  eeek:

Was a big bottle though and once upon a time I might have gone for it.  But this time  noooo:

Well curiosity has the better of me so I've just cracked one of these open..



So far it pours like Guinness, looks like Guinness, smells like coffee and it tastes...........................................odd. Not like a properly blended drink, more like someone spilled an espresso into a pint of Guinness. Nope, I'm glad I tried it but I don't think that's a drink for me.  noooo:
