The fruit loaf challenge beckons  scared2:

I think it'll have to be made tomorrow ~ I've collected all the ingredients ~ and tomorrow's dinner out with friends so Saturday morning will be too late.
Just how much mixed spice to include, eh?  rubschin:

Bung it all in!  happy088

40gr of mixed spice + 500gr fruit loaf =  Explode: Explode:

I think I'll go for the 'waffer thin' teaspoon  whistle:

And then there's the raisins, sultanas, peel and other stuff .... if it doesn't work out I can distribute it around the park like the tunnel soil in The Great Escape  happy088

Tried out the timer delay last night ... It confused me  rubschin:. I thought a delay of 9 hours would be until the programme kicks in and starts ... it turns out that the 9 hours included baking so I woke at 5:30 to the smell of French bread cooling down  ;D

Very good texture but the wrong shape for a French loaf, lovely taste though  cloud9:
