Decided to call in a the local tip on route to seeing friends.  Big Mistake, seems the entire population of East Sussex is throwing stuff away today.  Huge queue, so gave up

Maybe it's bring out your dead day
Well, whatever, nevermind

Did I...?  rubschin:

I think it has been in the schedule since early on - I must have forgotted....

Hamilton Gardens on the way there and Hobbiton on the way back.

With hindsight we should have combined it with Waitomo and save a lot of driving but still... Shrugs:

...still no hot water here in Auckland so Rotorua will hit the spot!  lol:

Memory is the first to go.  If only I could remember where I heard that  ;)

Magic Mr Searchy never forgets:
. . .Surprised you’re not seemingly doing Mt Cook region (we stayed in Lake Tekapo) it is stunning.  And not doing Rotorua (bit commercialised but amazing geysers)
. . .... I've seen geysers-a-plenty in Yellowstone so am prepared to give Rotorua a miss...  ;)

Hobbiton?  TMJs (c Apey)
Well, whatever, nevermind
