I thought you had finished dismantling the wardrobes?   

Wouldn't it have been easier and cheaper to just replace the glass doors with some specially made wooden ones? 

We finally finished that yesterday ....awful,full length of the room,wardrobe and racking system with horrendously heavy sliding glass doors  that were cracked . Apparently all this was in place prior to the man buying the house .

However now all out looking at the plaster in the room and feeling that actually we need to replaster quite a bit / all of the room.

So although I started off by saying  wanted to redecorate the room - this is turning into a much bigger ( and more expensive job)

That's so true  - the wallpaper I like is £72 a roll

Oh trust me, we always know Miss D. It's just a trade off whether to say anything and risk the tantrum in return...

But first before the wallpaper I have now decided we need to :

Install a pump to make the shower work better (which can be plumbed into a cupboard in this room)
New raditors - old ones are shite
Possible new floorboards ??
replaster room  ( including new ceiling)
new furniture

see - the wallpaper will be small fry
