Cue another incident with gates?

Why does Panjero have to go?  They go on forever those things

If you could guarantee that I would keep it!  ;D
rubschin:

Well my brother in law has had one for about 20 years and it's still going strong (that's doomed it, sorry Ian)

You see loads of them here - especially the older 2.8 models - still going strong. But you can repair just about anything on them with a large hammer.

There aren't so many of the 3rd Generation like mine around and being more sophisticated, I'm concerned about big repair bills at some point. Some friends had an auto gearbox problem and it cost thousands.  scared2:

So, I'm thinking at thirteen years old and 230,000Km on the clock it might be time to chop it in.  rubschin:

Of course, I could keep it and chuck it away if it breaks...  rubschin:

But then road tax is expensive because of the big engine...  rubschin:

And it drinks diesel...  rubschin:

I dunno... Shrugs:
Does sound like time to get a vehicle you'll love.

The modern Soft Roaders are in the main just superb with loads of gismos.  Don't think they'll last 13 years though and watch out for the new tendency for low profile windscreens.  Improves the mpg but not the comfort factor or visibility.
Well, whatever, nevermind

Meant to be werking but Miss I texts to say Grandma and Grandpa are tired after their journey and want to rest this morning. She suggests that she pops round here "for a couple of hours"  eyes:
