I seem to be in Suffolk.
Yesterday evening I had an appointment with an orthopedic consultant. He informed me that contrary to what my GP had told me physio would do me no good whatsoever the joint was far too damaged.
He reeled off a load of risks whilst scribbling on a pad of paper passed the pad over to me and said is your heart going to be able to stand this operation it is fairly major. I said the he would certainly find out if it wasn't. ' This is the consent form', sign here and here' says he. I sign and ask what the waiting time is likely to be. Two to three months was the reply as he ushered me out of the door.
Today a text flooded in 'your surgery is booked for the 4th of July'.
I shall be expecting either an alien invasion or a rapid move to more independence possibly both.
