Just back from Brooklands where this rather lovely Dolly Sprint was in amongst the MGs and Triumph Stags. Engine had been blue-printed, different camshaft and twin 45 Weber's. 210 bhp. When he did the little hill climb thing, he smoked the tyres the whole way. Easily the fastest thing up there,  faster than the AC Cobras.

They both looked lovely but the '6 was on carbs.... Wankah:

By far the fastest thing up the hill (2 wheels) was a 1940ish Rudge. It had a bronze head so it was a racing one, but un-be-fuckin- believably fast.

My mate decided not to take his 1939 Scott Squirrel up the hill, so we had a beer instead.
