Fortunately for my my XP machine isnt connected to t'interweb so their cunning plan is buggered in my case  whistle:

I think I remember that 'Upgrades' are not available here cos of some EU decision?

I like it so far, easy to install and quite zippy in operation. Mind, I'll await final judgement until I see how it handles my son's games.

I bought the "Home Premium Full Version" (?102.45) comes with 32 and 64 bit discs. I have a 32 bit PC with 4GB memory (HP Pavilion). I had to change the hard drive so I thought it was a good time to change the os as well.

So it was a clean install, took less than half an hour. Took me longer to swop out the drive as I had to search the internet for a "how to do it" guide after I had taken the side off and removed the two screws holding the drive cage and still not being able to budge it. Turned out that there was a catch at the bottom of the cage that required pushing down with a long screwdriver.
