No alcohol has passed my lips today!

I shall have one small g&t at about 7ish and that is all I am allowing myself today.

It's true! We have fifteen people for BBQ tomorrow! Have been cleaning! Have just made 20 burgers and am about to start making lamb kebab things. Then need to make potato salad, marinade chicken, chocolate orange cheesecake, red onion marmaladeish thing. Then have to erect the gazebo, clean the outside table and chairs, get the crockery out and count glasses and make masses of ice.

Buy ice from Iceland or Sainsbury ~ it makes more sense. Send Mr Wench first thing in the morning and keep the bags in your freezer until needed.
I used to have a handle on life but it broke.

Good point!  ;) Thanks for that tip! I keep forgetting that  you can buy ice.

Paddling pool is now filling up too. And am now being told one pudding isn't enough. Am considering banoffee pie.  rubschin:
