Anyone know the new formula?  I've been multiplying by 7 and dividing by 47 for so long I've forgotten how to work it out  confused:

Old VAT was divide by 1.175 then times .175

New would therefore be divide by 1.15 then times by .15

It seems that Darling has caught the Inland Rev & Customs out as their web site stilll gives the old method  http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/vat/reclaim-howto-calc.htm
