I'm sure I have said this before but some people do get this problem with statins.

I take only Simvastatin 10mg + Ezetimibe 10mg daily and I have had no further muscle pain since dropping from 40 mg Simvastatin. Tried other statins and they were also a problem.

Have a word with your cardiologist. No point in taking medication where the side effects make life unpleasant ~ fortunately my Cardio man believes, as I do, that quality of life is more important than a mythical quantity of life that they cannot guarantee.

Also since stopping the "aggressive" treatment my cholesterol levels have dropped dramatically ~ work that one out because the hospital can't.
