So moving to see him meet the descendant of the chap who saved his ancestor from the shipwreck...  sad24:

In fact, to see him so emotionally controlled was impressive and caused more emotion in the audience, at least here. Whereas Rantzen's display previously was predictably embarrassing. IMHO, of course.

I had the feeling that Ranzen's bit had been filmed several times until she was happy with her "performance".
The best of the current series has been Boris.
Ainsley's last week was OK too but a bit predictable. You can hardly be black, have parents who come from the West Indies and then be surprised to find that some ancestors had been slaves. Mind you he was taken aback to discover at least one ancestor had been white. Made him rethink the chip that he was planning to carry home on his shoulder I thought.
