Minor is about the same age and is also going through a growth spurt.
Yesterday:
Breakfast: Sausage and scrambled egg followed by bowl of cereal and then toast. Half pint of orange juice
Mid morning snack: six ginger nut biscuits, cup of tea
Lunch: Roast pork, five roast spuds, carrots, broad beans, cabbage and peas followed by Fresh Fruit Salad and Cream (two helpings)
Mid afternoon: Tea and toast (several slices
Teatime: Muffins (Toasted) with butter and home made jam, Cake, 2 Doughnuts then more bread and butter
Supper: More toast with jam, Cup of tea
Bedtime: Drink + biscuit tin raid

Meanwhile Minimus is hardly eating anything.
Give it a couple of weeks and the roles will reverse.

We have given up worrying about it.

In a normal week this household uses 4 home made loaves and 6 shop bought sliced loaves, three packets of cereal (various), 4 litres of orange and/or apple juice, 10 pints of milk, 20 eggs, 2 kilos of bananas, 2 kilos of apples or pears, 12 kiwi fruit, 4 packets of biscuits, 3 carrier bags of assorted vegetables and an unknown quantity of meat. (Butcher Brother just brings it wholesale ~ usually 25 chicken breasts, a dozen steaks and a couple of joints of pork/beef or lamb a month) We buy rice by the 20 kilo sack and pasta by the 10 kilo sack once every other month. Strangely a bag (kilo) of sugar lasts at least 2 months. rubschin:

PS A joint of beef from my brother usually is a whole topside.

What makes it worse is that the THW's boyfriend is a vegetarian ~ there are only so many things you can do without using meat or fish ~ particularly as he "doesn't like beans of any sort". So it's butternut squash & wild mushroom risotto again then. ::)

He should be grateful you offer him anything - he is not your child. If he's hungry then go and get some chips or go home  evil:
