I have to admit I'm surprised by the number of restaurants that there are in Falmouth. I know the season is make or break but even so there doesn't seem to be enough trade overall to keep them going.

Apparently we are meant to be getting a Japanese place opening up soon though  cloud9:

It will be interesting here soon, a huge mall thingy opened in November with a food court .....with a lot of international chains .....could kill off a few more places.... rubschin:   wagamamma (?) are there ...

Japanese can be very good but for Apey to lose all the Mexican restaurants is a tragedy

Very true, when I was younger (and dafter) I once tried Fugu. Couldn't for the life of me remember what it tastes like but I can remember the curious sensation of, I suppose chewing Novocaine would be the best description.

I agree that losing all the mexican restaurants is a tragedy but if Apey fancies trying something a little more adventurous than a hot dog stand it could also be an opportunity.  rubschin:
