A well balanced meal as long as you have a loaf of white bread to dip into the juice.   cloud9:

How on earth do you know at stupid O' clock in the morning what you will be eating in the evening?
I have always thought that the worst thing about drowning was having to call 'help!' You must look such a fool. It's put me against drowning.

Anywhooo ... Winter Cricket Nets tonight so we've had a cooked lunch.
Pizza, salad and chips. Well that's the boys and me fed ... dunno 'bout SWWLTBO or the THW. They are eating in College & Skool Canteens respectively.

Prolly sandwiches and cake for tea/supper after "Nets"

Nobody seems to think such things are strange here - nor using your mobile phone in hospital, including the intensive care ward!  lol:

French Hospitals, of which I have first hand experience seem to expect visitors to feed the patients by bring in grub.... The hospital food there is appalling.

As for Mobiles ... they now permit them in hosp locally on condition you turn them to silent ring so as not to annoy people ~ oh and you must turn them off when the patient is on "telemetry" ie when the patient is wearing a portable device that they monitor remotely.

I never understood the bollix about "Mobiles must be switched off as they interfere with hospital equipment" when every doctor and nurse not only wear a pager but also most carry a mobile on their belt.

Summat to do with forcing patients to use that ghastly combined phone/telly thing at enormous cost I suspect...  ::)

As for the ring tones - the old boy in the bed opposite was just back from a hernia operation and clearly still zonked out. His wife was performing a bed-side vigil and had the loudest ring-tone you've ever heard!  lol:

Every time it rang (which was often) the poor old sod opened his eyes in shock before succumbing to the anaesthetic again1  lol:
