What, deliberately portraying total fiction as supposed historical fact for political purpose in an election year?

Well, whatever, nevermind

Eastwood was a brilliant actor and is a brilliant director but he is using supposedly true story movies to insert fake accusations about enemies of his buddy Trump.  In this case attacking the press with a malicious false story about an identifiable reporter.

I just couldn't stomach watching that and frankly he needs stopping
Well, whatever, nevermind

It is two hours of entertainment like any other movie. ::)

Eastwood has the right to make anything he likes... I've no doubt that if he oversteps a line legal action will be forthcoming.

In the end people will vote with their feet and you do of course have every right not to watch it...

Would you advocate watching 2 hours of 'entertainment' if it sneaked in a false story about the Brexit movement?
Well, whatever, nevermind

For sure if it got good reviews... ::)

It really is entertainment... We all know that don't we...? It isn't real...  noooo:

I find it bizarre that you won't watch anything that you consider strays from the truth (Sully) but then watch Star Wars...  lol:

Errr... Yes... ::)

But why watch total fantasy for two hours (entertainment I would imagine...?) but not be able to watch a movie that (IYHO) strays from the truth slightly, even if equally entertaining...? Shrugs:

I always found it amusing that they had to put that disclaimer about the film being a work of fiction in at the end of the credits.  lol:
