Currently listening to the Three Body Problem, the first of a series of novels by Liu Cixin. It's Chinese science fiction that doesn't pull any punches about the cultural revolution in the first few chapters, to the extent that the TV adaptation made by Tencent completely bypasses the start of the novel. I'm not sure how that is going to affect the plot as those events are crucial in the development of one of the characters. It's an interesting blend of physics, philosophy, mysteries of the universe and conspiracies making it quite possibly one of the strangest science fiction novels I've come across in a long time. Unc if you haven't come across the series yet you would probably enjoy it.
The universe is run by the complex interweaving of three elements. Energy, matter, and enlightened self-interest.

So as what Sky call a VIP I am entitled to one free film from their selection https://www.skystore.com/n/mvse/sky-vip/sky-vip-gift?aid=6b81a4ac-9eff-4f6f-82b1-cdda8472ff54&page=20

But there's nothing I want to see there that I haven't already seen.  I guess it'll be Oppenheimer and I'll never watch it
Well, whatever, nevermind
