Apparently the game is now considered abandonware so it is likely to be available on one of those sites. If I suggest a site to check would I end up getting further smited?

In that case try checking Home of the Underdogs or the Abandonware Ring, you may have some luck with them.

Blame the company IT bods, they seem to think that accessing game related sites distracts their staff from working  whistle:

Surely employers trust their staff to do an honest day's labour for an honest day's pay.
