Yes ~ Brown hopped on a 'plane to add his signature after everyone else had attended the ceremony and gone to lunch. Apparently he joined them for the coffee and mints. Now that's demonstrating your green credentials  ::) as well as your yellow back-bone and the fact that your wife has you on a diet.

So when the Union of European States (UES) celebrates in 100 years or whenever and photos of the signing of the first great step are shown there be no sign of the Prime Minister and GB will have been represented by a spotty schoolboy (a.k.a. David Milliband)
