Snoopy beat me to it, I was trying to reel you in  lol:

And, I'll have you know, my GSXR has an Akrapovic and in no way sounds like a sewing machine, especially not at 14,000 rpm! Sadly, Mrs TMR's GSXR has the standard pipe on it and that does sound somewhat muted.
Mrs. Barman's ZX6 was somewhat muted ‘till you opened it up. I fitted the titanium race exhaust to my Aprilia but was always worried about some policeman with nothing better to do nicking me – especially down at Box Hill…

You never been stopped for noise?

Most days, there is one of those parked at Mitcham Junction station. Darker green though. No idea of registration.

Is that yours?

I have no colour photos of mine, but it was identical, single seat, plunger frame, 125cc. Just post-war.

No - only the odd wheelie, stoppie and silly knee-down shenanigans on roundabouts. Most policeman will let you off with a warning as long as you say please sir, thank you sir etc.

Good. The Power Commander should sort out the snatchy standard fuel injection, but why the newed for two pipes - purely cosmetic?

Simple answer to that one, BM is fuelling it with his homebrew. It needs the 2 reinforced pipes to handle the gas.   whistle:

Do you read or write very slowly?

November until nearly August is enough time to chisel a reply in granite, with toothpicks.

What's a 'stoppie'?

IMHO a overly noisy motorcycle just says "Look at Me" and is indicative of the insecurities of the rider.
