I vaguely remember the old BBCs. But in general pretty much whenever I've used a computer it has had a mouse.

My Dad used to be an engineer when they first started. He used to crawl around them and replace valves and stuff. My Mum was an operator for them, ticker tape etc.

When we first got a desktop they couldn't quite get their heads round the fact that we owned something more powerful and smaller than anything they had ever worked on.

I bought as 750Gbyte hard drive today?

When I first started the biggest hard disk we sold was 5Mbytes ? it had to be formatted as four 1.2Mbyte drives to emulate an 8? floppy.

The first ?PC? I sold was a NEC Advanced PC which was based on twin 8? floppy drives.

Prior to that I sold some specialised HP systems with a huge 16K of RAM

Punched tape - great until it broke and you had to use special sticky things to repair them. Good fun to throw around afterwars providing no-one wanted it.

Ever heard of chad?
