And indeed just for Nick, Macca's 165 minutes are now on iPlayer

https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/m0018sfr/glastonbury-paul-mccartney

I'll fire up my Android tellybox and watch that later!  Thumbs:

What an excellent read that was thanks.  Opinionated (most good reads are) but on the ball so often and detailed.

Macca's is few people's favourite Beatle but probably the one most people would have liked to know personally and actually attended a solo concert of.
Well, whatever, nevermind

I was one of those 'it's all Paul's fault' people when the Beatles broke up so was very caustic about his early solo work.  But then he made Band of the Run which changed so much

I can even forgive him for Wonderful Christmastime.  Possibly the worst record in the known universe that actually still gets played

If I could pay to see any Beatle in concert it'd have to be George Harrison but of course that ain't ever going to happen and would likely have been a self indulgent disappointment

Well, whatever, nevermind

PS The Diana Ross set was watchable but mainly for the crowd response as she hasn't got that voice anymore and was overlong at an hour

Crowded House weren't bad
Well, whatever, nevermind

Glastonbury used to be "hip". Now it's more hip replacement.
