So yesterday's wedding was for a couple who live here ...we were booked as we did his sister's wedding to my mate ..

We agreed to do all day 3 till 12 !!! as they were feeding n watering us .....

All started well .....but as the booze kicked in ....

Firstly there was a wedding planner there (guest) who does not use us ....she went on to tell us she thought we were the best in Paphos at our job ...but uses xyz ... she then told us she hasn't had the jab .....because .....wait for it ...her life coach told her it would make her ill in future years ..( now at this point I should explain ..life coaches....faith healers.. and the like, make my piss boil , making money from the vulnerable and stupid ..) ...she explained that he got a picture of Jesus dropped her blood on it and because it did not spread ..she will not get covid...

Now not proud ..but this conversation lasted 30 mins...so when she finished the faith-healer story ..I just said "BULLSHIT"....at this point Miss T took me away ...

Then during the night most guests were ex-pats ..asking for stupid song requests ..

Then the venue tells us at 9ish PM to turn the music down...we were not loud at all ..   they explain they have no music licence....   this is a major problem for US ..because the Police impound the equipment ..which is ours not venue ..  

Then when finishing ..the grooms sister punches the groom ...

we packed up and left ...

HTF can they not have a Music Licence...?

I thought the CTO (or whatever replaced them) were quite hot at inspecting places and issuing fines if you didn't have the eleventy-billion required licences...?

Falmouth week even with it's reduced events brought in a decent number of tourists and the Boardmasters festival at Newquay had over 50,000 attendees. What did you think was going to happen, levels would drop?
