Losing hair is usually more associated with chemo and it can grow back.  Both women I know that had chemo recently wore wigs but it grew back.

AFAIK Radio Therapy is used for very localised treatment direct to the tumour or the site where it was removed from.

Zackly what I told Nod.  I am not aware (fortunately) of how hairy he is, but he has a hoover, so no problem

If Nods hair doesn't grow back you could always buy him a pair of Docs and some drainpipe jeans..  Thumbs:

Under interrogation, Nod discloses that he was offered surgery and a free colostomy bag for life OR 5 weeks of radio (5 times a week) + daily chemotherapy for 5 weeks!

I am rallying the troops. He is going to feel like shit!

And if he survives all that he may still need the surgery anyway!

Taking Nod to the hospital tomorrow first thing for his first treatment. What with all the prep stuff I reckon he will be there for a couple of hours

Nod: I am not staying there that long!

Me: You will do as you are told, you twat

Have got him a Wiltshire Farm Foods catalogue and ordered him to go through it to identify a range of ready meals to be delivered weekly and to eat twice daily

He is still in denial about what is about to happen  noooo:
