I rather think we are in pause mode for at least 3 months and financial issues will be irrelevant until then.   Borrow or steal what you need to get through the next 12 weeks in the uk and we will see where we are then.   Forget economic issues ... read a book learn some poetry say nice things.  Those are the important issues today.

What feels weird here is that in Spain, from Sat afternoon onwards, the streets emptied of cars and people. Madrid looked like a scene from On the Beach. In Nottingham earlier the roads were full and there were people everywhere.

Yep ...signs up in shops to say one at a time and a metre apart. Public transportation halved although traffic evident when going to the airport at 'rush hour' on Tuesday morning as travel allowed to get to work or to provide supplies to shops etc.

We will be on lock down in the next few days
