Useless offspring

The Boy has recently graduated with a degree in Drama.

I have an old friend who is an actor. He is very successful. He has done TV (2 current BBC series!), film, radio, theatre. Tomorrow his successful play transfers into the West End.

He has offered to meet the Boy and talk to him about methods of getting work, contacts and so on. The Boy's reaction? "He's older than you!"  facepalm:

A decision in principle has been made that The Boy and I go to London (I pay), see the play (I pay), meet the cast (mainly high profile Americans) and go backstage, then go out for dinner with my mate afterwards (I pay), then stay in an hotel overnight (I PAY  Banghead Banghead Banghead ).

All I need is a date from The Boy...............................................

It seems he is busy loafing about.............. Banghead Banghead Banghead Banghead Banghead

He is finding it hard to find a date in his hectic diary while he is unemployed  noooo:
