Sometimes it works.  That Suzanne Vega Tom's Diner was transformed by DNA so much and so well that she happilly performs both versions in her live show

But mostly it is just idiots with little talent ruining the legacy of great music to make a quick buck

The only other one I can think of that was good ..was ..Linkin Park with some darkie rapper .........
