The all new Nick's adventures in Derby

Another day of mayhem. Went to my new office (my old office having been dismantled last week). It was empty. I eventually discovered the move had been postponed, so went to my old office which had been partially reassembled though the computer had not been connected so I wasted another hour grovelling about plugging in leads to various bewildering plugs . Had then to go to the other site and found I had been given another parking ticket. The spreadsheet meeting had been cancelled (I had done two hours of work on the offending spreadsheet and just threw it in the bin). Got a second parking ticket while at this site and also discovered that the bumper overseas recruitment gleefully reported to me last week was a figment of someone's imaginative spreadsheet and that we are, in fact, down on international students.

And my new best friend is a butch lesbian who has been wonderful and very helpful. Pity about the hormone treatment she is having prior to her gender change surgery
